Happy New Year from Lake Geneva. I trust you had a nice Holiday season, and if you’re anything like me, you’re already over winter and ready for spring. 2025 was yet another banner year for the Lake Geneva lakefront market, with ample sales and seemingly insatiable buyer demand. The year was full of highlights, including my sale of the George Williams College Campus. There were 13 lakefront sales to close in excess of $7,000,000, and I was fortunate to close 7 of those and finish the year as the number one agent yet again. For the year ended, my total sales volume exceeded $108,000,000, which was $40,000,000+ more than the next highest producing agent. This year’s volume pushed me over $1,000,000,000 in lifetime sales, and for that I couldn’t be more grateful. It turns out if you focus on one market segment and sell it with integrity and passion, good things will happen.
In a market where everyone knows a broker from the country club or the yacht club, I’m glad to be the guy that people know solely from the business side of this market. If you’re buying or selling on the lake in 2026, I’d love to help. Agents don’t prove their worth by sniping a few sales here and there, instead they prove their worth by spending decades skillfully guiding their clients through a heavily nuanced market. In the coming weeks I’ll do the typical deep dive into the market performance of 2025, which was less than uniform in spite of the typical refrain coming from my competitors. Those year end market reviews will discuss the catalysts for the activity and the outlook for the coming year. Here’s to 2026.
