I’d like to have you believe that I haven’t written on my blog since May because I’ve been too busy selling real estate. That’s not entirely true! Truth is, summer in Lake Geneva is so exciting that I spend nearly every “free” moment that I have with my family on the boat, on the pier, at the pool, on the golf course, out to dinner, and so on. Lake Geneva isn’t just a place that I work, it’s my home town that I truly enjoy. I’ve often said that there is simply no place I’d rather be than Lake Geneva in the summer time. Winter? That’s a different story.
The market has been quite robust this summer, with year to date sales volume exceeding that of 2006 in many segments on the market. Activity slowed some during July, but has picked up in recent weeks, and will most likely continue to build into our very active fall market. I’ll update this blog more often now, I promise.
