By now you may have heard about my latest sale. While the out of towners attempt to lecture the locals on how to market and sell properties, I’m just here doing what I can to further my clients’ lakefront interests. I was pleased to be chosen to represent this beautiful lakefront estate on behalf of its terrific owners, and even more pleased to have quietly sourced a direct buyer over the summer. The end result was a transaction at $16,475,000 for 261′ of Snake Road frontage and this fantastic lakefront home. Over 10,000 of stylish above grade living space, 4.5+/- gated acres, and a delightful lakeside swimming pool proved to be the combination that allowed this property to become the second highest contract value sale of all time at Lake Geneva. This sale serves as a great reminder that while other Midwestern markets sometimes have a dalliance with upper bracket liquidity, Lake Geneva continues to ring that bell with frequency.
