I was planning on getting out this week and asking some nice ice boater for permission to mount my camera to his ice boat. I was planning on showing you a nice view from the bow of a Lake Geneva iceboat. I was then planning on waxing eloquent on the sport of iceboating, as I did once last winter. That’s what I was going to do, until a friend forwarded me this great new video by Matt Mason. Matt’s a friend as well, and he was lucky enough to hitch a ride on an iceboat, and took the time to put together this great video. Imagine owning a lakefront home on Geneva, and the versatility it affords. Sailing on crystal clear waters by summer, and ripping across that same frozen, still clear, water by winter. The ice this winter is perfect for iceboating, in fact it appears to be the best in several years. If you’re an iceboater, get your rear end out onto Geneva. If you’re more into the watching than the actual sailing (like yours truly), you need to take a trip to the lake to see this in person. For now, enjoy this terrific video by Matt Mason Photography.

When I started selling real estate 27 years ago I did so of a desire to one day dominate the activity in the Lake Geneva vacation home market. With over $800,000,000 in sales since January of 2010, that goal is within reach. If I can help you with your Lake Geneva real estate needs, please consider me at your service. Thanks for reading.
