For every buyer out there that passed up on the lakefront property on Conference Point that I had for sale last summer and fall, news of this sale should depress you. This fine property with 125′ of relatively level frontage on the West bank of Williams Bay closed today at $2.3MM. Now, if you’re thinking, no big deal, I’ll just wait to find the next 125′ lakefront lot, I have some bad news for you. This property was a deal. A steal you might say, except I hate to think anything costing $2.3MM could ever be termed a steal. Chances are, a 125′ lot in this sort of location with this sort of grace won’t be available again, and that’s coming from a relative valuation pessimist. Congratulations to this new owner whose only mistake was not buying this property when I had it listed for sale!
