It appears that Geneva National continues to be overlooked by the majority of buyers, making for increased inventory and sagging prices. While market activity is on the rise in the broader market, Geneva National doesn’t appear to be following suit- if we gage their activity by the number of pending homes and condominiums, which as of today stands at just 5. With over 140 homes and condos on the open market, that’s not a very good number, and far off the pending activity in Abbey Springs, which currently stands at roughly 10% of the open market homes. I’m seeing price reductions that buyers should find quite enticing, single family homes once listed in the $800k range, now listed in the $600k range, condominiums once listed for $200k now listed for $150k. If buyers are looking for price reductions to spur their motivation, they certainly aren’t following that trend into Geneva National. With homes and condominiums priced from the very low $100k’s all the way to $1.5MM, there’s a vacation home suitable for just about anyone.
While Abbey Springs takes the cake as the areas most complete vacation destination, with golf, tennis, work out facilities, indoor/outdoor pools, beach, yacht club, restaurants and more, Geneva National is no slouch. In fact, Geneva National is the only development that can rival Abbey Springs, and it does indeed blow Abbey Springs away if you’re a golfer. Of the three 18 hole courses at GN, 2 of them are on the list of Wisconsin’s top 100 courses. Wisconsin has over 5,000 golf courses, just to put that into perspective. Funny enough that the only course at GN to not make the list, Trevino’s course, happens to be my favorite course at the development in terms of scoring. Anyway, Geneva National is undoubtedly a golfers paradise, but don’t think you have to be a golfer to enjoy it there. With 3 outdoor pools, 4 tennis courts, 4 restaurants, work out facilities (with memberships), walking trails, gated security, and more, this development is certainly worth a look.
Buyers, if you’re contemplating a purchase at Abbey Springs, or at any other area condo and you’re not in need of lakefont property or a boat slip, consider Geneva National. As a Realtor who has lived there, I can provide you an in depth look at the property, without the heavy sales pitch. Heck, I don’t even care if you buy a condo or home from me, just let me show you around a beautiful development that’s prime to give up a deal or ten this Spring.
