Tops

I’m well aware that people grow tired of having me talk about sales volume. It’s tedious and annoying, I agree. I think that maybe I’ll stop talking about it, but then I see agents posting about single sales or about being #7 at their company branch office and I wonder why I, too, shouldn’t be able to post about my modest successes. At least I recognize that it’s fleeting in nature and owed to my clients who choose me to help with their real estate maneuverings. With that, this: Last year I was the top agent in the State of Wisconsin. I was the top agent for 2020 as well, but the company that tabulates such things didn’t receive my submission for some odd reason. I was the top agent in the state a year or two before 2020 as well. To round out the self-important accolades, I was top in Wisconsin by more than $80M in closed volume, which means second place wasn’t in view. In addition to the state ranking, I was the number 233 real estate agent in the country by way of closed volume. All of this doesn’t matter very much but I’d be remiss to not get one short blog post out of it. It’s quite rewarding for me to find myself in this fortunate position, but it would be a tremendous mistake to not recognize the 26 years of hard work and the timely occurrences of good luck that helped make this possible. All of this has happened under the cloak of a general blessing on my life that I most certainly do not deserve.

About the Author

I'm David Curry. I write this blog to educate and entertain those who subscribe to the theory that Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is indeed the center of the real estate universe. When I started selling real estate 27 years ago I did so of a desire to one day dominate the activity in the Lake Geneva vacation home market. With over $800,000,000 in sales since January of 2010, that goal is within reach. If I can help you with your Lake Geneva real estate needs, please consider me at your service. Thanks for reading.
