Lakefront Update

Here’s your weekly Geneva lakefront sales update. Attention big sign little experience guy in Walworth County – The lake remains Geneva Lake.

Lake view from my Conference Point lakefront

The city is Lake Geneva. It’s only been that way for 170 or so years. You’ll get it right one of these days. Anyway, the market affecting Geneva lakefront homes remains stable. There are currently 20 true lakefront homes available on the lake, with two more lakefront homes pending closing (in escrow). The inventory remains very low, and in my humble opinion, one of the best deals on the water continues to be the lakefront home on Conference Point listed at $2.795MM. The average price per foot (according to the MLS statistics) continues to hover around $38k, with the Conference Point lakefront coming in at almost half that amount. It’s a deal.

12/05 MLS Based Chart

Here’s the breakdown of the market. I figured I owed you a chart, since now and then I forget that people don’t always take Realtors at their word. As well they shouldn’t in many cases. Take a look at the chart and you’ll discover stability personified. Email me this week and I’ll show you some beautiful Lake Geneva real estate. In spite of this stability, I’m chomping at the bit to insult some sellers for your benefit.

About the Author

I'm David Curry. I write this blog to educate and entertain those who subscribe to the theory that Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is indeed the center of the real estate universe. When I started selling real estate 27 years ago I did so of a desire to one day dominate the activity in the Lake Geneva vacation home market. With over $800,000,000 in sales since January of 2010, that goal is within reach. If I can help you with your Lake Geneva real estate needs, please consider me at your service. Thanks for reading.
