Chicago Tribune on Lake Geneva

Uh oh. Some Curry guy was quoted in the Tribune this morning- but that’s not “uh oh” worthy. It seems there’s a bit of a sales problem across the violent green pond. According to the article by Mary Umberger, in which I, your humble real estate agent, was quoted, sales aren’t exactly flowing on Lake Michigan. And by not exactly flowing I mean not a single sale in the specific area serviced by the Michigan agent interviewed for the story. It appears that all those Cider House Rules commercials aren’t having the desired affect on the real estate market there. So chalk another one up for Lake Geneva. Here’s Mary’s story, complete with verbose quotes from yours truly. For now, I’d love to write more, but the sky is blue, the air is warm, and the boat has a little bit of gas left. See you at the lake.

About the Author

I'm David Curry. I write this blog to educate and entertain those who subscribe to the theory that Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is indeed the center of the real estate universe. When I started selling real estate 27 years ago I did so of a desire to one day dominate the activity in the Lake Geneva vacation home market. With over $800,000,000 in sales since January of 2010, that goal is within reach. If I can help you with your Lake Geneva real estate needs, please consider me at your service. Thanks for reading.
